CHICKEN WIRE JIG | ||||||||
Similar in operating principle to the Square Mesh Jig, the Chicken Wire Jig also produces square-holed fencing, with holes measuring 30 mm x 30 mm. With the correct technique for handling thin wire the fencing keeps it's unique shape while being made. This equipment is very labour-intensive, with a large portion of production cost being the worker's wage. You can employ up to three people on one jig - one making and two assembling the pieces into fencing. The Chicken Wire Jig is also used to make ungalvanized mesh for use in ferro-cement products (i.e. tanks).
